anyway...well....been ahwile?
ive been kinda busy and to lazy to respond to people on DA. but i do feel bad about that, its not that i suddenly developed a strong dislike for anyone or i decided im to good for DA.....or i got abducted by aliens....just simple business and laziness. so sorry to everyone i havent responded to in like....a month.

anyway stuffs going on, trying to still get my normal hours at work and juggle school at the same time while still maintaning a social life. haha like the picture erik found, you can only pick two! although i have lost some hours at work (it suuuucks because im a workaholic and i like my 450+ paychecks. plus i got a shit ton on cons to save up for and two cosplays i need by november!) but i seemed to make a perfect college schedule; i go to class everyday for only 2-3 hours a day. that works for me, sitting and learning to long makes me really tired and i do not want to fall asleep in my COLLEGE classes. this isnt high school! ive also been trying to reconnect with old friends...ha thats not going well. i havent even talked to kitsune since last animanga, and the whole 'have jd come over before college starts' thing did not fly. but at least i still have dnd on fridays, which jd will now be joining, and i see lee on mondays (and fridays) and theres always the weekend.

well thank you to anyone who actually does care about me and is reading all of it.
what i did want to post is that im finally putting up another sub story comic, i know i got a few people who like those. and im trying harder to work more on my drawings. sheesh if my output...percent...number thing during highschool was 6 a week, its like .5 a week now. kyaaa lazinessssss. so im going to stop pacrastinating and work on those 50 billion ideas i have, some 'art trades' i either promised or wanted to do, some more professional actually test my abilities stuff, and more of my old comics that i do miss drawing.

school, work, friends and DRAWING?! man i must be crazy! might as well throw anime and gaming out the window! otherwise i wouldnt have time to sleep XD
nah, ive always been pretty good at fitting everything in...even if it does mean less sleep.
oh and i cant forget my beloved maiya either! he needs quality time too! <33

oh so wanna hear the fun story behind my cat?
so if anyone did read my spazz post before i got a 'female' kitten and i name 'her' maiya and got 'her' a pink litter box, a blue daisy collar, and a heart shaped name tag with pink jewls on it. then maiya and i took a trip to the vet.
"its a boy"
"...what...?"
"your cat is a boy"
"are you sure...fml."

i dont love maiya any less, but i really had my heart set on a WHITE FEMALE cat. i already compramised the white part, hes a silver tabby, but now my precious little baby is a baby boy? uhhhgggg
the freaking people i adopted him from were stupid as hell too! while i was HOLDING him i asked is THIS on the girl (there were two cats in the cage) and they said YES. and the papers they gave me said FEMALE BROWN TABBY.
and me being the genius i am didnt actually pay attention to that part when i was filling out the forms.
and me, being even more of a genius, did check his gender but IGNORED THE OBVIOUS FACT THAT IT WAS NOT A VAGINA.
i feel pretty dumb about it, im suppose to be the cat fanatic. even though i knew something wasnt quite right, i ignored the signs.
so now i gotta go back to them and get the right papers, for all i know he may not have any shots (i doubt that but still)

so if anyone wants to adopt a pet, please adopt from the people i did. lake erie metro animal rescue, they are stupid and the animals in their care need to go to good homes right away.

which is one of the reasons i adopted maiya from them instead of petco or petsmart. one of the employees at petco told me they dont do background checks, so who knows what psycho is taking these precious kittens, plus the conditions the cats lived in were not ideal. the may have been two or even three cats in one cage. and when i got maiya he was scrawny as hell, his eyes had a green discharge and crust around them, his nose had lots of dried kitty boogers around it, his ear had a weird rough spot, and he was sneezing a lot. i know what you are probably thinking "neko are you stupid to adopt a cat like that? from people like them?!"
well i was to damn excited!
but im glad i did. after a couple weeks of being with me, getting lots of love and care and good food and soft places to sleep, he got much much MUCH better. he was more hyper, his eyes didnt discarge as much, his sneezing became less. and now, almost two months later, hes bigger, happy, no discharge or crust, and he almost never sneezes. and the spot on his ear is pratically gone. for all i know he could have gotten worse being in that cage!

but im glad i have maiya, even tbhough i made him gender confused. hes so perfect, he knows who is mommy is, he sleeps in my bed, sometimes actually listens to me, and everyone in the family loves him. even my dad XD it makes me so happy when he runs to me when i get home, or when he starts to meow a lot and when i call to him he quickly climbs to my bed and purrs like a madman rubbing his head against my hand over and over again. then he plops himself next to me and goes to sleep <333
